2008 Advent Season: Christmas Beyond our Doors Celebrate the birth of Jesus with us this month. On each of the four Sundays leading up to Christmas, we are lifting up and learning more about a different mission organization and their efforts to bring the love of Christ to the world. Our Advent theme this year is Christmas Beyond our Doors: Today we lift up the ministry of the Interfaith Hunger Initiative. IHI is a local, multi-faith organization that acts to raise awareness and reduce the problem of hunger here in Indianapolis and Internationally. Please pick up an IHI coin bank, and during the week, place any spare change in the bank. Then bring it back with you next Sunday. Your contribution will help the hungry here in Indy this holiday season!
